TEC Discussion Pods and Social

Warm welcome to join our Networking Discussion PODS and Socials, taking place Friday May 1st at 5:30pm directly following the conference program.

This free event will allow trainees and those early in their careers to join discussion groups in areas of interest to them. The groups will be facilitated by one or more experienced professionals from different fields in pediatric ABI.

The sessions will include:

1. Networking Discussion PODS: Including professional and topic discussions facilitated by experienced clinicians and researchers.  

• Round 1 Topics: Psychology & Neuropsychology, Medical, Allied/Other Health Professionals (PT, OT, SLT, Kinesiology) and Other Professionals (e.g. Education)
• Round 2 Topics: mTBI/Concussion, Rehabilitation in Moderate-Severe TBI, Other ABIs (brain tumors, stroke, encephalitis, etc.), and Prevention & Knowledge Translation

2. Trainee and Early Career (TEC) Social: Following the Networking Discussion PODS, the Trainee/TEC Social will take place at the Greta Bar, and includes a complimentary drink, mingling and games.
